Osaka namba number 1 (according to their sign)!

Ok, the first thing to mention here is the huge piece of pork rib. It's longer than the diameter of the bowl and super fatty. It tastes fantastic and melts in the mouth. The soup is tasty but leaning more to the average end of the scale. The noodles to are good but nothing to write home about. Overall, a solid bowl with one standout component complimented by average components.

Teshikaga Ramen

7/10 Teshikaga Ramen A nice fishy bowl of ramen. The highlight for me was the noodles. They were such a deep colour and had great flavour and chewiness. The meat was barbecued pork and tasted good. The menma and spring onions were also good. Like I said, it was a fishy soup which isn't my favourite but the flavour was light and it made for a great bowl of ramen. I'd definitely eat again at one of their many stores. Salt Ramen in Shinjuku

7/10 Salt ramen in Shinjuku This was a solid flavourful soup with 3 types of delicious meat and 2 wantons. The toppings of menma and scallions were nice. The egg could have been better both in terms of marination and yolk softness. The noodles were the biggest let down for me. They were a nice thickness and firmness but lacked flavour. 7/10 Another Michelin Recommended Ramen This is really good ramen. The best bit is the meat, it's absolutely amazing. There's 4 different types and each one is fantastic. The noodles are soba and they're really light and delicious. The soup is also really light but a bit fishy for my liking. It is really delicate and not at all a fishy soup but the fish is there and I don't like it. All of the toppings are really high quality and taste fantastic. I'm a little sad because this was exceptional ramen but that slight fish taste let it down for me. I really wanted to love it.
