The Hakata Ramen - Hacchan Ramen

9/10 | Gold star The Hakata Ramen - Hacchan Ramen Wow this is one fatty ramen. I love it. The broth tastes so good, it's almost got a creamy taste to it. The meat is delicious and cooked perfectly. There's black pepper on the meat and I can't get over how good it is. The spring onions are good too. The only let down for me is the noodles. They are thin which I like but not katame which is my favourite. I probably should have asked. I wish I could eat this every day. Award Winning Ramen

9/10 | Gold star Award Winning Ramen This is a fairly posh place for a ramen shop. It's still got the usual counter seating and ticket machine but the fixtures and fittings are much fancier than a usual ramen shop. Now the ramen. This is a super rich chicken soy soup. It has so much flavour and tastes fantastic. The noodles are amazing, they soak up the flavour of the soup and taste so good. I'm surprised to find wonton in here too and they taste so good. There's two types of meat, beef and chicken. The chicken is great and the beef is nice and rare too, like strips of roast pork from a Sunday dinner. My only criticism is that the egg is not cut in half but that's a pointless criticism because it's otherwise a perfect deep orange, runny egg. This has honestly been a mind opening experience. This is the best non-tonkotsu ramen I've ever had. I wanted to order another before I'd finished because I didn't want it to stop. Ramen Yamaguchi 3...
