7/10
Rustic, Fishy Ramen
This is a fishy one. Fish, super salty soup and even little fishes sitting on top. It's got a little spice which neutralises the fish and it tastes really good. I'm not a fish fan but I really like this. There's a couple of inch-thick noodles on here which is a fun addition. The egg is massive although doesn't seem to be marinated but still tastes lovely. The meat is super thick and fatty. Not the usual cut for ramen, seems more like brisket. The noodles are homemade and super thick and wavy. They really bring out the flavour of the soup as you eat them. This is a really good, big bowl of ramen and I'm sure for fish fans it's delicious. As fish isn't my thing this will never live up to a good tonkotsu for me.
